Talking about this, Perez revealed in a report published by Red Bull Bulletin, “I would like to have been a banker or a lawyer. I think they share the adrenaline that we live every day, and I quite like adrenaline. I think those jobs really give you that adrenaline.”
“But it would have to be something related to sport, you know, probably as a lawyer that helps sportsmen get their contracts done, or a kind of manager,” further stated the former Force India driver who indulged himself in the 250 miles per hour racing.

However, the dominating aura of Max Verstappen largely relegated the man from Mexico to the number two driver on the team. Much of that was because of Verstappen’s immense battle with Lewis Hamilton in 2021. After the Dutchman picked up his first-ever world title, Verstappen repeated his feat in 2022. Perez had to settle for P3 and the second position on the team.
However, the Guadalajara man believes he can beat his teammate in the game. Talking about this, he revealed to GP Racing Magazine, ”It’s not easy to beat him. But I’ve got to keep trying. I’ve got to keep improving. And I believe I can do it. I just have to make myself more comfortable. Like I was in the beginning of the year. And I’ve shown I can do it.”
