The Red Bull and Honda partnership just keep on giving. From stunning liveries, to now a nod to Mexico with Sergio Perez. In a new update for Forza Horizon 5, Xbox introduced a pinata challenge.
With players having to drive through pinatas to get more points, Perez brings his Honda car alive to set an example.

As an ode to Mexican traditions, “the pinatas represent our culture filled with life, joyful color, and festivity.” Bringing an element of added fun to the game, the gameplay is complete with stunts and unique challenges as well.
Sergio Perez on contributions to Red Bull Racing
With a podium on his home race complete, Perez looks for more. “If you look at it coldly, I’m not happy with my season, but there are a lot of factors.” Likening himself to Ricciardo’s struggles early on; Perez confessed that the situation was the same for him.

Regardless, Perez was soon an important challenger in the championship race. “I’ve struggled to adapt, but it’s hard to put a grade on that right now. If I close out strong like I expect, the grade will be different. So I’ll wait till the end of the year.”

He also pinpointed his strongest contribution to the team. “I think the experience, the amount of points that I’ve taken away from Mercedes and given to Max. The team is always positive and not just in the way we work together, but how we’ve pushed the team in several areas.”

The Mexican has not only been important to the team this year, but has also played a vital role in the preparations for 2022. ” I’ve been involved in all of that every weekend at the engineers’ meetings, tried out the simulator. But we’re at the point of the championship where we’re fighting for our lives on one end, and on the other we’re preparing a totally new car.”
