The upcoming Abu Dhabi Grand Prix will see Sebastian Vettel driving an F1 car one last time as the lights go out at the Yas Marina Circuit. After 16 brilliant years, the German maestro will hang up his F1 steering wheel, helmet, and overalls after crossing the finish line on Sunday evening. As renowned personalities all around the world wish Seb all the very best for future endeavors, Nicholas Hamilton didn’t miss the chance.

Nicholas Hamilton, the brother of Lewis Hamilton, from his paternal side, bid farewell to the former Red Bull star on his official Facebook account. The motorsport driver wrote, “This weekend we bid farewell to one of the F1 greats. A 4-time World Champion & a great ambassador of our sport.”
“I have had the pleasure of knowing Seb since his early days in Formula BMW, Formula 3 Euro Series & Formula One. A true competitor & all round nice guy. The F1 grid will miss you, buddy. Wishing you all the best for your future & your last race on Sunday!” concluded Lewis Hamilton’s brother, who has met Vettel on a couple of occasions in the F1 paddock.

Nicholas Hamilton is a British motorsport driver. He is the younger brother of the Mercedes star and son of Anthony and Linda Hamilton. He currently competes in the British Touring Car Championship with Tony Gilham Racing. Due to his cerebral palsy, he races in a specially-modified car.
Sebastian Vettel, on his decision to leave F1
Speaking at a press conference on Thursday, Sebastian Vettel answered a few questions on his retirement ahead of Abu Dhabi Grand Prix free practices. When asked to talk a bit about it, he stated that he would take tips from Fernando Alonso, who once retired from the sport.

“Maybe I should ask Fernando!” Vettel conveyed, when he was asked how he would feel after the race on Sunday. “He went through it already, he will go through it again, I guess at some point.” Fernando Alonso left the sport in 2019 and returned in 2021.
“But I feel okay. I mean, obviously, I guess after so many years and races, there’s the routine of those days, but I think it’s difficult in a way to grasp, but I’m aware of what’s happening and I’m happy about it. So as far as I can be,” concluded the German.
