Sebastian Vettel on new races joining the calendar
The four-time world champion Sebastian Vettel has spent a long time in F1 and has raced on many historic as well as new circuits. Vettel loves to race on new venues, but he would not like circuits like Melbourne or any other classic European tracks to lose their place on the calendar. So, the former Ferrari driver proposed F1 to balance new races and historic races.
Vettel said, “But I think, yeah, for us, it’s a sport, it’s our passion. So we don’t see it as a business. I think we see it more as a sport and yeah, places mean something because of the history they have, or the tradition they have. I think it needs to be sort of a mixture between exploring, but also holding on to places that have history, a big fan base.”
