What a start to the Austrian GP weekend! A dramatic qualifying followed by an exciting sprint race as Max Verstappen once again showcased his incredible form. While the current Red Bull driver is on form, former Red Bull man Sebastian Vettel is enduring a torrid time this season.
According to reports, the stewards have summoned the four time world champion for his ‘behavior at the drivers meeting.’ More precisely, he has breached Article 12.2.1 (f) which states “any words, deeds or writings that have caused moral injury or loss to the FIA, its bodies, its members or its executive officers, and more generally on the interest of motor sport and on the values defended by the FIA.”
The reason for this is unknown as of now, but it seems like Vettel’s tough times continue. Meanwhile, the German’s start to the Austrian GP has been disappointing as well. He started P19 in the sprint race after a frustrating qualifying session yesterday.

Although he made up places, a collision with Alex Albon resulted in him spinning into the gravels. And he was forced into the pits in the last lap and will eventually start P19 ahead of his old foe Fernando Alonso.
Fans, meanwhile, could not believe Vettel’s luck throughout this season. They were shocked and curious, wondering why the stewards have summoned Vettel.

Vettel’s start to the season was hindered by COVID-19 as he missed two races. Following this, the AMR-22 struggled for pace and failed to match their midfield rivals. After exiting Q1 for the third time in a row, fans cannot believe the German’s luck.

Previously, the stewards also summoned Christian Horner during the 2021 Qatar GP for the breach of the same article. This was because Horner criticized the FIA, as they handed Verstappen a five-place grid penalty for the race.
