Being 32-years old, Sebastian Vettel has a vastly different set of interests compared to his younger contemporaries. At the 2015 Austrian Grand Prix, Vettel was asked about his music preferences before qualifying. The German driver cheekily replied, “Help from the Beatles, I need help, they are too quick.”

Naturally, the Ferrari driver alluded to Lewis Hamilton and Nico Rosberg, who were next to him in the press conference. Suffice to say, Hamilton found the funny side to the quip, but Rosberg maintained a poker face. Vettel’s desperate plea has a ring of truth as the Mercedes duo won nearly every race that year, apart from three.

What else is on the Sebastian Vettel playlist?

Back in 2016, Sky Sports asked the drivers about their music choices ahead of the US Grand Prix weekend. Sebastian Vettel went a little old school and chose Bruce Springsteen’s Born in the USA and Prince’s Little Red Corvette. As it turns out, Valtteri Bottas and Kevin Magnussen are also fond of Born in the USA.

Recently, Vettel broke out of his shell and took part in his first eSports race, and it was a chaotic one. After getting himself involved with the race leaders, he got tagged and spun to the back of the pack. Luckily, he managed to recover and recorded a 12th-place finish in the end.

Up until he decided to join the online map, Sebastian Vettel has always been a private person. For a long time, he and Kimi Raikkonen were the only drivers who were not on social media. Then, Raikkonen joined Instagram a few years ago, and is seemingly enjoying it. However, Vettel is adamant that he will not join social media. It actually took the likes of Charles Leclerc and Pierre Gasly to convince Vettel to join the online racing grid.
