Without him, I wouldn’t be here: Sebastian Vettel
As reported by Motorsport. it, the former Ferrari stated that without his father’s support he wouldn’t have made it to F1. He also mentioned that his father hid some uphill races while he was young and coming up in motorsports.
“Without him, I wouldn’t be here! For me, he was a great inspiration when I was young. He did some uphill races, and we started doing motorsports with the family.” said Vettel on his father’s influence on him.
“He’s been supporting me all these years, and he still does. The story of the track walk in Monza is quite simple. Due to the format of the sprint race, the weekend times were a bit different from the usual ones, but I arrived on the track as always and… there was no one! So I told my dad if he wanted to do a lap, and we went together. In the end, it was very nice.” said Vettel.

“Driving, competitiveness. Obviously, I love to drive. I love to win. Next year many things will change, I don’t think today there is a single team that can be sure of winning in 2022, we know that a great challenge awaits us and I like working with these people.
The current season is a great season for us, perhaps not in terms of results, but certainly in terms of work. Morale is high, and this creates enthusiasm. Obviously, after many years in Formula 1, there are some things I like. Less like being here now and answering questions, but it’s part of the game.” concluded the Aston Martin driver.
