Sebastian Vettel finished the first half of the 2021 season on a high. The German finished the Hungarian Grand Prix in P2 on the road before he was disqualified from the race due to fuel irregularities. Despite the disqualification, Vettel seemed quite upbeat about the performance ahead of the Belgian Grand Prix.
Vettel was in a good mood before the weekend. He spoke a bit about his idols, the two Michaels- Schumacher and Jackson. The four-time world champion revealed he can not emulate the latter in his musical talent.

Singing wasn’t really my thing: Sebastian Vettel
As reported by F1-insider.com, Vettel mentioned he is a fan of ’70s and 80s music and Michael Jackson is one of his musical heroes. But Vettel has no plans to emulate his hero as he does not possess the voice of the American rockstar.
“Singing wasn’t really my thing. But after a lot of drinks I get very close to Michael Jackson – when it comes to dancing,” said Vettel.
The German also spoke about his other hero, Michael Schumacher. Vettel mentioned that the current condition of the 7-time world champion saddens him a lot.
“Michael was a wonderful person and an inspiration. Of course, it hurts me that he has had to fight like this for so long.” said the four-time world champion.

The Aston Martin driver comments on his disqualification in Hungary
Sebastian Vettel has not spoken to the media since his post-race disqualification in Hungary. Although Vettel stated he is disappointed with the decision, he mentioned everyone will remember his performance on the track.

“It was bitter, very disappointing. Because we lost a lot of important points. But there wasn’t much we could do. Only at the end of the race did we realize that there was a technical problem and that we were running out of fuel. But rules are rules. I still enjoyed my time on the podium. “ said Vettel.
When asked if he had returned the P2 trophy and given it to Hamilton, Sebastian jokingly said, “I don’t even know where the trophy is. In any case, I cannot return the champagne that I drank on the podium.”

Vettel will look to continue his form into the second half of the season and help Aston Martin finish P5 in the constructor’ championship.
