Over the past decade, F1 has been all about 2 astonishing drivers – Sebastian Vettel and Lewis Hamilton.
While Vettel rocketed to four championship titles in four seasons, Hamilton subsequently took over the former’s dominion by overlapping the German’s mountainous record, churning six titles out of just seven seasons. Considering the numbers, one can definitely say that they’ve enjoyed a monumental career in F1 so far.
Interestingly, almost 15 years have gone by, and the two drivers are still a part of the F1 grid. What’s more, the duo has delivered a handful of nail-biting battles against each other, with some turning ugly and threatening to intensify their rivalry as well.

And despite such on-track clashes, Vettel and Hamilton have managed to sustain their healthy off-track relationship, which has further bolstered in the past couple of seasons.
The Aston Martin driver opened up how that it is the common passion for racing that allows himself and the seven-time world champion tp maintain a strong tie.
Vettel on his relationship with Lewis Hamilton
Speaking to The Guardian, Vettel opened up about his relationship with his long-term racing colleague, Hamilton.
“Me and Lewis will always have that history. We have a common passion that connects us,” Vettel said. “Why am I doing it? Because I love it (racing),” he added. “Because I still want to prove to myself that I can do what I want to do, what I used to do, and in a way that I am happy with.”
It hasn’t been a straightforward journey in the last couple of seasons for Vettel, having secured a measly 33 points out of the last 19 races.
And yet, the German is showing no signs of taking a break or even opting for retirement. Such has been the amount of passion that is driving the Aston Martin driver.
Vettel wants to be at the front
It has been a tough start for Vettel and his newly formed team, Aston Martin, so far. Considering how their rivals have improvised from last season, things are looking tough for the British team to make a comeback. But, despite such negatives haunting the team’s future, Seb is still keeping his eye on the title.
