Sebastian Vettel is raring to with Aston Martin ahead of the 2021 Formula One season. The German went to the team’s factory in Silverstone to get his seat fitted and to feel what the car will be like once he is behind the wheel.
The four-time world champion due to his experience knows how to extract the most out of his car and knows what suits him the best. However, during his days at Ferrari, the unstable rear of the car often caused Vettel a problem, hence resulting in a poor season.
Sebastian to be reckoned with

The German world champion was pleased with his seat fitting experience and the simulation rides at Silverstone, He instantly knew the characteristics of the car that is best suited to his driving ability and needs fine-tuning so he can trust his car blindly once he is behind the wheel in testing.
“One thing is certain: After the seat adjustment and the first simulator rides, the four-time world champion has really tasted blood. Because he already knows that the basic characteristics of the new car suit him” reports F1-insider.

Team boss Otmar Szafnauer said, “We’re doing everything we can to build a car that meets the driver’s requirements, the driver makes the difference in the end. All our previous drivers wanted a car with a stable rear. Therefore, this characteristic is in the DNA of our cars. Of course, that benefits Sebastian.”
Szafnauer knows that Vettel can be fully confident in his new car and backed the German by stating, “If everything goes perfectly, I even trust Seb to win a race this year.”

Aston Martin will reveal their car on the 3rd of March. The fans are eagerly waiting to see the livery as well, Vettel himself in his new colors as he embarks on his new journey. The 33-year-old will partner Lance Stroll on the grid in the new season of Formula One.

The team would be powered by the dominant Mercedes engine, and with a veteran champion behind the wheel as Vettel. Notably, the Silverstone-based team will have high hopes once the race begins in Bahrain on the 28th of March.
