Some fans were even left worried as to what happened to Vettel’s hair. But German publication Bild‘s statements may calm the storm.

Motorsport (translated via Google), quote them as saying that the Vettel’s new look is only “Temporary.”

Sebastian Vettel to revert to his classic look in time for Bahrain testing

The report said, “Vettel has decided to have his hair cut during the winter break. Because normally he does not appear before the press or the public does not see him.

“The plan was for the German pilot to have his usual long hair in the first test in Bahrain and at the start of the season.”

The first test in Bahrain will take place on March 12. Unlike previous seasons, F1 has opted for a shorter testing window this year that’ll only last for three days. The last day of testing being March 14, two weeks before the start of the 2021 season’s first race at the very same venue.

But more than the dates, Vettel fans would just be happy to know that this look won’t be permanent. They will now be keen to see the old Sebastian hit the track with his new team and put the ails of 2020 behind him.

A move to a new environment would surely do him good. But whether or not he returns to his glory days, remains to be seen.
