Ever since Ferrari decided against retaining Sebastian Vettel, the German has remained pretty quiet around the team, although that wasn’t unexpected.
However, Vettel recently revealed that his relationship with his teammate, Charles Leclerc, never really “suffered” despite Ferrari’s decision.
Vettel expressed his views on the question of whether his relationship with Leclerc had gotten complicated; considering their significant difference in pace on the track and the fact that the Monegasque will stay in Ferrari next season.

“The relationship between Charles Leclerc and me did not suffer because of my departure from Ferrari and therefore did not improve,” he told Zeit.de.

However, the two have patched things up since then.

“You can actually get along with me. I am not a fan of any games, of background moods,” he said.
“I don’t believe in luring someone off the wrong track. We’re each at a different point in our careers. I’m much further, I’m older and have seen a lot. A lot is still very new to him.”

Hence, his focus will entirely be on his upcoming switch to Aston Martin. But can Vettel find what he missed in Ferrari?
