After a rather painful season with Ferrari, Sebastian Vettel will drive for Aston Martin in 2021. The German and British racing team are eying a comeback. Vettel had a really underwhelming season as Aston Martin comes back to the grid after six-decades.

Sebastian Vettel finished the 2019 season in P5 as he claimed 240 points. A year later, the German fell out of the top 10. He claimed mere 33 points and managed only a P13 finish in the championship.

After his last season with Ferrari, Vettel is excited to start his new chapter with Aston Martin Cognizant Formula One Team. “I can’t wait to start working with Aston Martin Cognizant Formula One™ Team.”

While many fans of the sport have all but lost hope in Vettel, his new boss feels differently.

“He knows how to win World Championships. I am sure we will learn lots from him, which is why we have hired him. We will give him the support structure he needs in order to feel comfortable in the team and start performing at the levels we know he is capable of,” said the team boss, Otmar Szafnauer about Vettel.

The German has conquered four world championships with Red Bull. He moved to Ferrari to live his dream of winning a championship with the Maranello team but failed to deliver. Vettel fans are eagerly waiting for his return to the top.
