It looks like four-time world champion Sebastian Vettel has got his mojo back. He made a poor sort to his Race of Champions campaign after losing to sim racer Lucas Blakeley in the team’s event. But he quickly bounced back in the individual events to finish runner-up to Sébastien Loeb.
Despite having little to no experience driving in the ice and snow conditions, Vettel pushed Loeb to the maximum. Now, the Aston Martin driver mentioned he would like to try his hand at rallying.

“Obviously, you saw I’m still missing a little bit. Very much like Formula 1 or any category, there’s a lot of work behind the scenes, doing your pace notes and getting all the information you can, the same with us preparing the race and the analysis after,” said Vettel.

“The sport progresses and there’s more to it than just driving, which is also a challenge. So, for sure, it’s not easy to just jump into it and be very good at it. You need the time and experience, but if someone is willing to give me a shot and a chance and has a lot of time, I’m happy to look at it.” said Sebastian.
Well, it would be interesting to see Vettel in a different category after he finishes his F1 career. Driving in rallying would be a safe bet for him as he showed in Sweden that he clearly has the skills to compete. But before thinking about retiring from the sport, Vettel has the challenge of competing in the 2022 season in Formula One. Where do you think Vettel will finish in the 2022 season?
