Saudi Arabia is eagerly awaiting the inaugural Formula 1 event around the streets of Jeddah scheduled over the first week of December 2021. However, even before F1 could flag off the Saudi Arabian GP, the entire circuit is buzzing with new records not only with respect to F1 but also the entire world.

Only a week earlier, the Grand Prix organizers affirmed that the Jeddah Corniche Circuit would be the first-ever Formula 1 circuit to offer 5G network to the spectators. And this record is subjected to the sport. However, here’s something even more astonishing that has garnered global recognition.

Saudi Arabian GP breaks ‘Lego’ record

The push for success began on September 10, where a team of Lego builders built the largest F1 car entirely made of Lego bricks. The previous record belonged to Ferrari, who built a car comprising 350,000 Lego bricks, back in 2019. And only two years later, here we are, with a much bigger Lego car on display at the Jeddah Corniche Circuit.

According to the promoters, it took exactly 10 days for the builders to complete the car, with a total of 504,202 Lego bricks. The car, as expected, is Green in color, depicting Saudi Arabia’s national flag which primarily features Green.

Guinness World Records officially announced the new record on September 23, Saudi National Day.
