If you aren’t aware of Ryanair’s antics on Twitter, you’d almost think they have a personal grudge against Charles Leclerc. The airline company’s admin has complete freedom when it comes to hazing athletes on X (formally Twitter). And this time they proved it again with their brutal comment on Leclerc’s highly anticipated Ferrari contract extension news. The comment is reminiscent of the one they made on an OnlyFans star’s honest admission, wherein they dragged Leclerc through the mud, out of the blue and for no good reason.

Let us first jog your memory and tell you about the OnlyFans/Leclerc comment by Ryanair. Five months ago, OnlyFans star Elle Brooke appeared on Piers Morgan’s uncensored segment. In that segment, Morgan addressed the elephant in the room by asking Brooke how she would justify her primary source of income despite getting into law school, to her future children. To this, Brooke nonchalantly replied, “They can cry in a Ferrari.” The RyanAir Admin could not help themselves and trolled Leclerc by replying “Like Charles Leclerc” to the tweet.

Fast Forward to January 25 this year, Ferrari announced Leclerc’s contract extension news and Ryanair’s X admin saw an opening again to take another dig at the Monegasque. The admin savagely replied to the announcement tweet and wrote, “Only thing he’ll win is longest contract” taking a shot at one of the most talented F1 drivers. However, is Ryanair correct given how Leclerc still needs to prove his championship-winning pedigree?

As brutal as it gets and we are sure we haven’t seen the last of it from Ryanair, we can also bet our money on Leclerc never doing business with the Irish airline. In fact, if we go by his statement, he plans to shut them down.

The Monegasque will be entering his 6th year with Ferrari in 2024 with five wins under his belt. However, the wins are not enough to satisfy his big ambitions in the world of F1. Leclerc has been pipped to be a future world champion for many years and after extending his contract, that’s exactly what he will be aiming for.

Leclerc made a powerful statement of intent while addressing the media after signing his contract extension. He said, “I’m very pleased to know that I will be wearing the Scuderia Ferrari race suit for several more seasons to come. I believe the best is yet to come and I can’t wait for this season to start, to make further progress and be competitive at every race. My dream remains that of winning the World Championship with Ferrari and I’m sure that in the years ahead, we will enjoy great times together and make our fans happy.”

Despite the heartbreaks and the shortcomings, there is still hope. The Monegasque only has one aim now, and that’s the world championship, so he can finally shut down his critics once and for all. He surely has the quality and we will have to wait and see if his team can provide him with the tools as well.
