Sergio Perez made an unexpected cameo on the post and gave a cheeky response. “Can you make me one?” replied Perez.
He took a dig at himself, indicating that he is still searching for a seat for next season in Formula 1.
Perez was recently left out of the Racing Point roster for the next season. But considering the number of vacancies in the teams, Perez still has a chance to drive in Formula 1.
Teams like Alpha Tauri, Alfa Romeo, and Haas are yet to reveal their drivers’ line-ups. Haas looks like the best option for Perez as the team is seemingly unhappy with their current driver pairing. And their indifference is not unfounded as the Guenther Steiner-led outfit has failed to progress in the Constructors’ Championship table over the course of the past two years.
The Mexican can help the team move up to a higher place with the number of sponsors he brings with himself. And what’s more, his experience and recent run of form could become a major factor that could make the decision easier for the American franchise.

However, Checo recently cleared the air between himself and the team via a post on social media.

“I have known this team for seven years and they are like family. I have spoken to the team and they expect my explanation. (there’s no way that after 7 years we can finish in bad terms, the air is totally cleared.)

“And we all want the same thing: to score as many points and be successful in our remaining races together,” read his message.
Earlier, he stated that the team [Racing Point] had started “hiding” things from him. But now the message understandably shows that he is back on good terms with the team.
