Formula One is coming to the Russian GP after the aftermath of the Italian Grand Prix. In Monza, we saw another collision between the championship protagonists Lewis Hamilton and Max Verstappen. The Turn1 crash took both drivers out of the race with stewards, handing Max a three-place grid drop for Sochi.
Apart from the crash at the front, we saw another new winner in 2021 with McLaren‘s Daniel Ricciardo taking the honors at the Italian GP. The Aussie led a McLaren 1-2 in Monza, their first since 2010 Canada. The result took the Woking team ahead of their rival Ferrari, again coming into Sochi.
