The world has been waiting with bated breath for any positive news regarding the health of Formula 1 legend Michael Schumacher since his skiing accident in 2013. Nothing much comes out as Schumacher’s wife, Corinna, has been steadfast in her commitment to keeping her husband’s medical condition under wraps, with only occasional updates from close family members.
The continued calls for privacy highlight the immense pressure that the Schumacher family has faced over the years, with the world eager for updates on the beloved driver’s health. Despite rumors and speculation about Schumacher’s health, be it improving or worsening, Jean Todt emphasized that only the family knows the truth.
Since their time working together at Ferrari in 2000–2004, when the German won five of his seven world titles, Todt has been a close friend of Schumacher’s. They worked together for many years, and the French executive, since the disastrous accident of his German friend, has been a close member of the family.

Todt aptly put his request forward while rubbishing all sorts of rumors around the health of the seven-time world champion, as quoted by Corriere, saying, “Let’s leave them alone. We respect the privacy wishes of Corinna and her children, we know that that accident had consequences. Anyone who says he knows something, he knows nothing. I always go to see him. He and his family are my family.”
Over the years, fans have felt a mixed range of emotions when they hear news regarding their favorite driver, as Jean recites anecdotes about him and shares the experiences that he continues to have with his friend.
