We are all aware of the FIA’s ban on political stances during a race weekend. So far, in the season opener, the FIA did not see any infringement of the rule. However, away from the track, Lewis Hamilton is already making a stance on a wholesome yet important issue. The seven-time world champion felt compelled to bring a social injustice to all his 31.7 million followers on Instagram. In addition to spreading awareness, the Brit also pleaded with his fans to stand against a Spanish bill. Although no matter who you are, you will have to agree with the Mercedes man on this stance.
The Brit took to his Instagram to share a piece of horrific news. The news was initially shared by Israeli-Canadian businessman Mark Scheinberg on his Instagram. Hamilton later shared Scheinberg’s post on his story to spread the word and also made a plea on behalf of his beloved dog Roscoe.

Let’s first brief you about the issue. According to Scheinberg’s post, the Spanish government could pass a bill on 8th March. The bill will effectively decriminalize inhuman behavior towards working dogs or street dogs. This bill, if passed, will give perpetrators of acts of violence toward tens of thousands of dogs a free hand.
