The rivalry between Lewis Hamilton and Max Verstappen has never been this intense as the title contenders prepare for the Dutch Grand Prix – Verstappen’s home race. Nico Rosberg thinks that the environment at Zandvoort will be hostile towards Hamilton.
Ever since the two crashed at Silverstone, the Formula One community has been divided. The 7-times world champion has been booed several times since that incident, and hence, the 2016 world champion in Nico Rosberg thinks Hamilton will be booed this weekend, especially since it’s Verstappen‘s home Grand Prix.

Lewis Hamilton should be prepared for the boos at Zandvoort states Rosberg
The Mercedes driver has had his shares of haters before. However, ever since his crash with Max at the British Grand Prix, that vitriol towards him has grown. As he prepares for the Dutch Grand Prix, his former teammate, Rosberg thinks the booing will be present this weekend.
Speaking on what lies ahead, he said, “The fans will be against Lewis. and I expect a lot of boos, even if it’s not good for sports. In any case, we already know that it can happen.” [h/t Formula Passion]

Can Verstappen take the lead in the title race at Zandvoort?
After winning the odd race last weekend at Spa, which gave half points, the gap between Lewis & Max has fallen down to three. Hence, it is no surprise that Verstappen would aim to win the race, and what better way to do it than in front of his home crowd.
However, after tasting defeat, Hamilton is also looking to bounce back but is well aware of the threat Verstappen possesses. He hopes to keep the Red Bull prodigy at bay, and further extend his lead in the championship.
