The one thing that separates winners from champions is that winners keep winning despite losing a championship; that champions come and go but winners remain. And we all know which category Lewis Hamilton falls into.

Despite a crushing defeat on track, the 37-year-old continued winning off it. A few days after the Abu Dhabi GP, the Briton was knighted. More recently, the Mercedes driver has earned a hefty profit while setting an important example.

It’s no secret that Hamilton owned one of the most exotic and incredible hypercars, the Pagani Zonda 760 RS.

But unfortunately for fans who support the seven-time champion and love the Zonda, it was recently reported that the two have parted ways.

According to a recent report, Lewis Hamilton sold his Zonda for an estimated $11.3 million. This meant he earned a net profit of about $8.7 million.

Hamilton selling Zonda, or him selling one of his cars from the incredible collection he has, could become a regular headline in the coming months. This is because the Mercedes driver has reportedly decided to let go of all his cars that run with an internal combustion engine.

This decision is in line with his support and advocacy for the environment.

What are the other cars Lewis Hamilton owns?

The incredible car collection of Lewis Hamilton has the best of all the worlds. It ranges from old American muscle cars to Italian hypercars, to American luxury icons, to bespoke concept cars to a Mini Cooper.

According to Sports Unfold, Hamilton owns a Ferrari 599 SA Aperta, a 1966 Shelby Cobra 427, a 1967 Shelby Cobra 427, a couple of Ferrari LaFerraris, a McLaren P1, a Mercedes G63 6×6 truck, and a Mercedes AMG One.

All of these add up to a car collection worth over $14.5 million. And these are just the major ones.

Regardless, it seems Lewis Hamilton’s car collection will progressively become more and more environmentally friendly. While his heart must ache to say goodbye to such marvels and icons of automobile engineering, he also knows it’s for the greater good.
