The deep lunge down the inside to overtake Lewis Hamilton and then go on to take the Chequered flag is still fresh in everyone’s mind. And that must be even more special for Max Verstappen as he picked up his maiden F1 Championship with that move.

Winning the first major title has many perks. Not only does a driver gets to see his name on the elite’s list, but also can attract a handsome salary as well as sponsorships. Max bagged a whopping $50 million per year contract with Red Bull earlier this season that’ll see the Dutchman be with the team till 2028.

What will he do with all this money? Only he knows. However, Max is known to be a huge car fan. He gave an impressive car collection that includes Aston Martin Valkyrie, Aston Martin DB11, Aston Martin Vantage, Ferrari 488 Pista, and many more. But that’s not all. He also has a private jet.

The Red Bull star bought the jet from Richard Branson. Named Falcon 900EX from French aviation company Dassault. The jet could cost a person to shell out around $9-15 million. It has a capacity of 16 passengers. The jet can fly non-stop 8340 kilometers (5180 miles) and have to be taken for service maintenance after 200 and 400 hours of flying.

To defend the title, one has to have a brilliant start right from the beginning. Verstappen unfortunately didn’t have the luck. Being unlucky would be an understatement for the Dutchman. Max qualified in P2 only to retire with his RB-18 in lap 54 of the Bahrain GP. A suspected fuel pump issue hindered the points finish for the former Toro Rosso driver.

However, Mad Max made a brilliant comeback at Saudi Arabia. After starting from P4, he tussled with Ferrari’s Charles Leclerc to win the Jeddah race. If Max had not faced any issues with his Red Bull in Bahrain, he would’ve at least been sitting at P2 in the drivers’ championship with Ferrari’s Leclerc leading the grid.
