Lewis Hamilton has a car collection that is worth a whopping 13 million dollars. The 7-time world champion is a big fan of cars; not just any cars but sports cars. Hamilton lives in Monaco and has a 1966 Shelby 427 Cobra, LaFerrari, Mercedes AMG Project One, and a customized Pagani Zonda to his name.

But recently Hamilton sold his Pagani Zonda LH, which was customized for him. The sports car had purple interiors and purple exteriors for the Mercedes driver. He bought the Zonda LH in 2014 and sold it seven years after its purchase.

Lewis Hamilton sells his Pagani Zonda LH after seven years

As reported by Soy Motor, the Mercedes driver bought the car in 2014. He bought it for around 1.6 million dollars and it is believed that he sold the car for over 2 million dollars, a hefty premium indeed.

Hamilton, despite customizing the car to his needs, was never thrilled with his Pagani Zonda LH. He had earlier mentioned,” The Zonda is terrible to drive! It’s the best-sounding car I own, but handling-wise it’s the worst.”

Hamilton was spotted behind his Zonda during the summer break when he took the car out during his time in Monaco. It is reported that the Pagani has hit the second-hand market with less than 1,000 kilometers on the odometer.

The sale of his car might be because of his commitment to driving EVs. Lewis has said that he does not really drive any of the cars he owns and just drives a Mercedes EQC.

“I don’t drive any of the cars that I own anymore. I only drive my [Mercedes] EQC,” said Lewis.
