REPORT: Brazilian F1 Circuit Looks in Dreadful State With Dangerous Hole

Well, it looks like the Interlagos circuit which holds the F1 Sao Paulo Grand Prix might need some change. There was a hole spotted at the track while a race was going on.

According to GPOne, the hole was right in the middle of the road while the cars went past it. We could spot the hole at the turns 5-8 loop section, which is often a medium speed section.

Although it is reported that it was a quick fix for the track organizers, it was a scary sight, nonetheless. Maybe before F1 returns in the latter part of the 2022 season, there might be a new layer of tarmac on the track.

The new 2022 Haas F1 hits the track in Barcelona

As reported by Autosport, Haas F1 has finally taken their new 2022 car out on the track for its first running. Incidentally, the team chose the Catalonia circuit to do their shakedown, as this will be the track where the first preseason test will be held. The Haas team principal Guenther Steiner is confident ahead of the 2022 season.

“We all know what the team is capable of, we’ve proved that in the past, and with this new car–born out of a completely new set of regulations and with our new design team in place, I’m confident we can showcase once again that we can compete on weekends,” said Steiner.

“It’s been a tremendous effort by everyone involved and now comes the fun part of getting the new car to the circuit and dialing in all the elements. Last season was a long one but I’m confident that 2022 will see us back in the mix with the VF-22,” the Haas team principal informed fans.

Hopefully, the team has used the 2021 season learnings well to develop the 2022 cars. It would be interesting to see if we can spot any difference in their performance in testing compared to last season.
