Red Bull keeps going unabated. Similar to last year, the Milton Keynes team has been on a current dominant streak. However, this season appears to be another Max Verstappen one after he won 10 of the 12 races, including 8 straight. The margin that the Austrian squad has produced with other teams, though, seems to be turning out to be a major turnoff for sports fans. And in order to defend his beloved Christian Horner has gained prominence. Using the heritage of renowned motorist Michael Schumacher, but with a caveat.
Michael Schumacher, who holds seven world championships and 91 victories, is recognized as one of the most outstanding drivers in the history of motorsport. He redefined what supremacy meant in sports while attaining all these achievements. The German legend won five world championships while working for Ferrari, an achievement akin to what Mercedes accomplished, but in a more dominant manner by ruling the field for 8 years straight.
In fact, Christian Horner has defended Red Bull driver Max Verstappen by using these figures as a shield. Last season, the Dutchman won 15 of the 22 races he competed in, and this year, with his current form and the Red Bull rocketship, it appears the record may be easily broken. On the Unlapped Podcast, Christian Horner was found replying to a question about whether he thought prolonged dominance was a problem.

Horner said, “It’s you know you remember the Schumacher, Mercedes these years We’ve had a couple of years now about and we had four years you know as well a few years back.” Later he added that he think the field will converge after 2025 as he noted, “So it will converge 100% you know the regulations are distillable, the engines there’s not much between them, the chassis the one things that’s OK control.”
And while wrapping the conversation Horner used a caveat as he mentioned that after the regulation change in 2026 Red Bull will start ripping it all and will be starting from zero all over again, ” Yeah I fully expect things to converge by 2025, And then we’ll rip it all up and start again in 2026,” said the Red Bull boss.
Even though Toto Wolff and the company found Red Bull’s supremacy to be a major problem, and were only trying to cope with that when Christian Horner came up with yet another headache for the Brackley based

Since the previous year, Team Red Bull has ruled the tracks. For them, each and every circumstance was as favorable as the Star’s alignment for luck. However, there were rumors earlier this summer that Red Bull’s engine development for the impending regulations in 2026 was lagging behind the technological process, with the Milton Keynes side being lower on Horsepower than the competitors, Mercedes and Ferrari.
However, Red Bull team boss Christian Horner gave Mercedes another cause to be pessimistic while appearing on the Unlapped Podcast. The Briton’s disclosure of the team’s 2026 technical updates was heard as “There was too much influence being placed on the chassis to make up for some of the inadequacies of the engine. But I think that has been refined and sorted out in what has been proposed for 2026. It is great that in enough time it has been addressed.”
