Former Formula 1 Senior Systems Engineer, Dan, while talking on a podcast, reveals how laid-back the work culture at Red Bull is compared to Mercedes. Moreover, he went on to give the viewers a glimpse of why a job at Formula 1 is not for people with kids.
Why did this Red Bull employee declined a job at Mercedes?
In a podcast on YouTube, interviewer Tom McCluskey aka Tommo asks Dan whether he ever thought about switching to a team like Mercedes or McLaren.
Dan, who has worked for Red Bull for six years, says that they offered him a similar job at Mercedes, which he declined. Talking about a Red Bull employee who switched to Mercedes only to quit and come back in six months, Dan says there’s too much corporate culture there.
