Red Bull advisor, Dr. Helmut Marko, has stated the tactics he will use to ensure Max Verstappen, isn’t snatched away by Mercedes. The Dutchman is an exceptional talent behind the wheel since he first entered the grid. Hence Mercedes has monitored Verstappen and hopes he can drive for them in the future.

However, Helmut Marko stands in between the Silver Arrows, so that they can’t take away Verstappen once his contract is done. The 23-year-old has a contract with the Milton-Keynes-based outfit for another 3 years. However, there is an exit clause in his contract that can be activated.

Both the Mercedes drivers run out of their contract at the end of 2021. Hence, they will look around the grid for potential drivers to replace Hamilton & Bottas going into the future.
