When your enemies appreciate you, that probably is your biggest seal of approval. Lewis Hamilton has broken all records in the book and has been arguably the most successful man this sport has seen got a thumbs up from a driver from the opposing clan. He won his 7th title in 2020 but hasn’t been able to claim his eighth as yet. However, the clan and the man who defeated him in 2021 could never really appreciate the man completely. But in a recent revelation, an estranged Red Bull driver has in fact tilted in the Mercedes driver’s direction, showing his back to Max Verstappen.

Alex Albon, who was ousted from the Milton Keynes outfit in 2020, had a ‘tell all’ session up ahead of the Bahrain Grand Prix. In a clip circulating on Twitter, the Thai driver is seen engrossed in a hot lap and involved in a Q&A session with British YouTuber Yung Filly.

He was asked what would he rather have Lewis Hamilton’s defending or Max Verstappen’s overtaking. To this, William’s driver replied, “I’d rather have Lewis Hamilton’s defending. Max’s overtaking… It’s tricky.”

The Mercedes fans joined in to give in their interpretation of the Q&A session and Max’s ex-teammate not picking him.

A few humorously pointed fingers at the Milton Keynes outfit silencing him. And not letting him speak against their golden boy, Max Verstappen.
