Perfectionist is the term that might suit Max Verstappen quite well. After legendary back-to-back performances at the US GP and the Mexico GP, one might consider that Verstappen would be a content driver. However, his statement left not only us, but the fans online dumbfounded as they reacted to his unaccomplished personal goal disappointment.
After a thunderous start right off the line, Max Verstappen found himself in the lead as he comfortably got his win number 51. However, the ever-so-perfectionist Verstappen was not content with just a win. As most of the teams opted for a one-pit-stop strategy, he determined to show that even a two-pit-stop could work. Unfortunately, the crash of Kevin Magnussen deployed a safety car, affecting his plans.

With Verstappen’s two pit-stop strategy no longer sustainable due to the safety car, his failed attempt had the fans perplexed as they shared their hilarious thoughts.
Nah bro, what is up with this guy? 😭

Exactly what’s on the minds of most people. Like does it really matter whether you were able to demonstrate the two pit-stop strategy or not? Like, imagine being Charles Leclerc and hearing this. The Ferrari driver can’t even get one win this season, and Max Verstappen is already on 16 wins, this season alone! But on a serious note, this is the exact attitude that is expected of a three-time F1 world champion.
Who was he trying to show that a 2 stop race would work? 😭
— UtdUnity (@UtdUnity) October 29, 2023
This fan wondered who Verstappen wanted to show that a two pit-stop strategy could work. Maybe Red Bull? Or maybe he just wanted to help Ferrari as he probably got bored leading the race by himself.
It was definitely going to work. He was 17 seconds in front of the number 2 when the SC hit.

This fan presents a good point. Considering Verstappen’s pace and how well the RB19 was suiting the Autodromo Hermanos Rodriguez. Had it not been for the safety car, we could have, at least in theory, seen the two-stop strategy work. And maybe even Verstappen dominating even further.
110 AI is too easy for him
— Michel (@Michelium) October 30, 2023
This fan hilariously interconnects Max Verstappen, finding even 110% AI difficulty in a game too easy. Because he’s just that good! And in all honesty, the in-game AI might just present more of a challenge than the rest of the grid, at the moment. Maybe he should try racing with just one hand, to make it more fair to others?

Bro doing side quests 😭😭💀
— MS 🇵🇸 (@mehmetmsf1) October 29, 2023
He truly is. Winning is too boring at this point, for the Red Bull driver. We wonder if he would ever consider helping Sergio Perez get a win as a side quest. Wouldn’t that be something? Unless, of course, he doesn’t want to do that.
