It’s never fun and games in the world of Formula 1. Every action, every turn, and every decision has serious consequences. This is exactly why the F1 drivers are extremely professional during their time on the track. Off the track, however, is a different story altogether. F1 drivers are the epitome of a work hard play hard mentality. So before the Red Bull man took on the Dutch GP challenge, they took care of the play-hard side of things as seen on Red Bull Racing’s latest YouTube video. Although no one expected Sergio Perez to reply what he did to an innocent question from Max Verstappen.

In the video posted on RBR’s YouTube channel, the two Red Bull drivers are making a Dutch delicacy called Stroopwafel. However, during this delicate affair, Verstappen is also quizzing his teammate. During this test of skill and mental sharpness, Sergio Perez gave an extremely notorious reply to one of Verstappen’s innocent questions.

Verstappen asked, “Which flower is often associated with the Netherlands and is the country’s national flower?” To this Perez instantly replied while making his stroopwafel, “W**d”.

The unexpected response made everyone around him burst into laughter and Verstappen hysterically exclaimed, “Oh f*k. Oh f*k man”

The hilarious reply caught everyone off guard and even with Verstappen’s best attempts, he could only deflect so much. The Mexican really did not take his surroundings into account and answered without thinking twice. No wonder he has such a massive fan following online.

Because of the connectivity in today’s day and age, a normal person is aware of most things that go around in the world. However, this creates some stereotypes about everything around us including countries. Perez’s reply about the Netherlands national flower is a perfect example of that but the fans still can’t believe he said that.

Although, there was an entire sect of fans who agreed with him as well.
