AlphaTauri is not going to be around Formula 1 next year. Well, at least the name won’t be. The team rebranded from its former name, Toro Rosso, to Scuderia AlphaTauri to promote the Red Bull team’s fashion brand. However, at the end of the year, the deal will come to an end, and Red Bull will be renaming it again for the next season.
However, it will not be back to Toro Rosso if reports are to be believed. The Red Bull sister team might be renamed to something like “Racing Bulls” which did not sit well with the fans. Back when they were Toro Rosso, they were the home to several high-level talents making their debut in Formula 1. Daniel Ricciardo, Max Verstappen, and Carlos Sainz to name a few. The 4-time world champion Sebastian Vettel, though he didn’t make his debut, got his first race win with Toro Rosso.
⚠️ | AlphaTauri could be renamed to "Racing Bulls". The Faenza-based team will not be directly named after a title sponsor. This rebrand should be announced soon.

Naturally, there are a lot of memories associated with the team and the color scheme that fans have grown really attached to. While Scuderia AlphaTauri had a quite nice ring to it, for fans, it was just not the same as Toro Rosso. Now that the deal is ending, fans were highly expectant that the name would go back to Toro Rosso, but the recent reports seemingly crashed that.
They haven’t stopped hoping though, taking to Twitter to express their anguish over “Racing Bulls”.
Fans want Toro Rosso back
When Motorsport.com broke the news about a possible new name for AlphaTauri, fans immediately took to Twitter (now X). On hearing the name “Racing Bulls”, fans weren’t too comfortable with the fact that there would be two teams with the name “Bull” on the grid.
Sounds like a terrible slander name for people who don’t like RB having two teams😅

Of course, both the teams would then have the acronym RBs, and the fans quickly noticed this as well.
Ah yes, RB and the other team RB. That won't get confusing at all

Some fans even tickled our funny bones with a classic alpha beta comparison. Mixing the AlphaTauri name, along with the new racing male, one particular fan came up with this interesting potpourri.
name them the Beta Bulls. Alpha Bulls could be good but lets be real we all know Red Bull Racing is the alpha in the room

Some fans didn’t see the funny side of this weather, pleading with the Austrian team to “just bring back Toro Rosso.”
Bro just bring back Toro Rosso.

Fans saw a quick solution to their problems though, and asked the team to not do anything new and bring back the traditional Toro Rosso color scheme. The blue, red, and gold have a special place in their hearts after all.
I’d prefer they just go back to Scuderia Toro Rosso with the original navy blue, red, and gold https://t.co/H4dQVOqdrL Bulls sounds a bit lame tbh
