Red Bull team boss explains Max Verstappen DNF at Melbourne

Horner mentioned that he can understand world champion Max Verstappen‘s frustration after another DNF for the season. He revealed the reason behind Max’s retirement might not be engine-related.

But it is difficult to know the real reason behind the world champion’s car’s failure until we get back to the car and do some analysis. Christian mentioned that so many retirements early in the season are not acceptable for the team.

“It’s totally understandable, his frustration. That was a really disappointing result not to finish the race. We don’t know what the issue is yet–I don’t think it’s actually engine-related,” said the Red Bull team boss.
