Last week when the rumors of Adrian Newey’s exit from Red Bull started circling the paddock, Craig Slater talked to a couple of Red Bull employees who advised the F1 pundits that the Chief Technical Officer has indeed looked discontent with the team. Later it was suggested that Christian Horner’s investigation and the power struggle at Red Bull were the reasons behind his exit. Whatever the reason may be, Zak Brown has now taken a jab at Horner and suggested that more departures from Red Bull are incoming following Adrian Newey’s exit.
Jos Verstappen was the first one to suggest that Red Bull will explode if Christian Horner stays at the team after the investigation and we’re already seeing signs of this happening. Zak Brown is the latest one to suggest the same after Newey made his Red Bull exit official, and said he would no longer be working with the F1 team and would focus on the RB17 hypercar.
#F1: Zak Brown says Newey is just the first domino to fall at Red Bull based on the “resumes that are flying around” and indicates it is all fallout of the “destabilizing” of the Horner investigation.

When someone like Adrian Newey leaves a team, it is guaranteed that the morale of the team is going to go down. A similar thing happened with Mercedes when Lewis Hamilton announced his exit. Max Verstappen and Helmut Marko are also rumored to be leaving Red Bull because of the power struggle as Horner met with the Red Bull Thai owners and is believed to have taken over the control of the motorsport and beverage division. However, they might not be the only ones, as suggested by Zak Brown.
According to Motorsport Journalist and Pundit Jenna Fryer, Zak Brown has suggested that Adrian Newey is just the first one to exit the Red Bull team and we will soon see many departures from the team as the resumes of many Red Bull personnel are flying around the paddock. Brown explains that it all happened because of what happened at Red Bull following the Christian Horner Investigation.
However, the fans aren’t too content with Zak Brown, just like Newey wasn’t with Red Bull, and have slammed the McLaren CEO for his comments. Let’s see what the fans are saying.
Fans condemn Zak Brown’s comments and ask him to “focus on his own team”
Soon after Jenna Fryer revealed what Zak Brown had to say about the situation at Red Bull following Newey’s departure, fans took to Twitter to bash the McLaren Boss as they called him a ‘weasel’, asking him to mind his own business instead of commenting on the competitors. While many Red Bull fans are not happy with the situation at their team and aren’t in favor of Christian Horner, they certainly don’t want interference from the likes of Zak Brown.
I can't stand Horner rn but dear lord, Zak Brown is such a weasel.

Some took to the platform to call the McLaren CEO “Fat Brown” and asked him to solve the matter of his own team, as McLaren hasn’t won a championship since the late 2000s.
Fat Brown needs to shut up and worry about his own team. Redbull is just fine!

Some suggested that Zak Brown is just diverting the attention on Red Bull as his team isn’t anywhere close to winning a race, let alone challenge for the championship.
Zak wants to deflect from the fact his sponsors aren’t happy with progress.

Some even called out Zak Brown for jumping to the media every time something bad happened with another team and then highlighting it to make it more prominent.
Zak is a pure hater you can't convince me otherwise 😭 https://t.co/UNDzKBr860

Then some rained on the McLaren CEO advising that he would be the one hiring those Red Bull employees to fill in the seats on his team.
McLaren has a vacancy and Zak is looking at red bull resumes🧐 https://t.co/Oaus3cYnYB

While fans didn’t like what Zak Brown had to say, he for sure has given some insight into the situation at Red Bull, and being a Team Principal, he would know if the Red Bull employees have actually applied elsewhere. What do you think? Is Zak Brown telling the truth or just taking a random shot to further lower the morale of Red Bull employees?
