Mercedes-AMG F1 team has dominated the turbo-hybrid era like no other team. The team has won the 2021 F1 constructors’ title, which was its eighth title on the trot. Mercedes legend Lewis Hamilton finished second in the drivers’ standings with 387.5 points. Meanwhile, Valtteri Bottas had another strong season with a 3rd place finish in the championship with 226 points. The duo has been performing exceptionally well for the last 5 seasons. However, the team lost out on the drivers’ championship to rival Red Bull, who ended their 7-year drought.
The team recently shared a celebratory post on Instagram after winning the constructors’ title. It was well-received among the fans who showered their wishes to the team for this monumental achievement.
To the delight of F1 fans, arch-rival Red Bull graciously sent their wishes to the Silver Arrows as well. The two teams managed to take the high road after the controversial race weekend in Abu Dhabi.

Red Bull congratulated the Mercedes team
Mercedes maintained its dominance this year, winning the “money bagging” title owing to a 2-3 finish in the drivers’ standings. The Silver Arrows shared an Instagram post with a caption that said, “It’s official! We are F1 Champions of the World for the EIGHTH time. 🏆
Proud of every single member of this Team across Brackley and Brixworth that made this championship possible. History makers, every single one of you.”

Red Bull, who finished second in the constructors’ standings, also took a moment to congratulate the Brackley team. “Congratulations on a truly historic achievement, an 8th Constructors Championship. What a season of fierce racing and we look forward to more next year 👊” said the reply by the Red Bull official handle.
Top teams gracious in defeat
Mercedes continued the winning streak with the Constructors’ win while Red Bull managed to clinch the drivers’ title. Drivers and bosses from both sides graciously congratulated each other.

Videos came in after the race showing Anthony Hamilton congratulating the newly crowned world champion. The Red Bull boss Christian Horner shared his conversation with his counterpart Toto Wolff where he gave his wishes to the team.
