Year after year, Red Bull fans have had one consistent complaint from the Austrian team, despite their performance on the track. It’s the fans’ collective objection to the repeat livery every single year. We understand every team has sponsorship commitments and certain elements cannot be changed. However, the one thing a team has total control over is the color scheme aka the livery. Every year Red Bull faces backlash after the livery launches. Now, to redeem themselves, Red Bull is finally giving the fans a way to express their opinion.
The fans have been demanding a new livery, something unique, something that makes the Red Bull challenger stand out for years. However, the team’s blue dominant with hints of yellow and red has stuck around since its inception. There were glimpses of special liveries celebrating anniversaries or highlighting special occasions, like the 2021 Turkish GP livery.
However, Red Bull also made its livery into a fan engagement activity. They ran a special fan-voted livery for all the US-based races, i.e. in Miami, Austin, and Las Vegas. Taking this trend one step further and now asking fans to design the livery for three races.

Despite RB referring to Racing Bulls, the fans could only focus on the corporate name of an F1 team.
