A friend of the female employee who was suspended by Red Bull post the investigation on Christian Horner confirmed that the leaked chats were real. Something like that is bound to have an impact on Horner’s marriage with Geri Halliwell. But even if there were any tensions between them, it wasn’t revealed to the public, as Horner always suggested that things were fine between him and his wife. And now, a long-time confidante of Horner, Bernie Ecclestone, has broken the silence about the Marriage of Horner and Halliwell post the investigation.
Christian Horner and Geri Halliwell’s marriage was under scrutiny by the F1 community after the accusations of the Red Bull Team Principal of inappropriate behavior toward a female employee. The result of the investigation in the end was that Red Bull didn’t find Horner guilty of the accusations made against him. Still, accusations like these can take a toll on someone’s marriage. But it seems like that’s not the case with Horner and Halliwell.
Christian Horner and Geri Halliwell were spotted at the Bahrain GP, walking hand in hand as they arrived in the paddock. This was just days after Red Bull announced that Horner wasn’t found guilty of the accusations. Regardless, the F1 community called it a PR stunt, just to show the world that both Horner and Halliwell are still a united front. And assumed that things were a bit shaky behind the scenes, especially after the leaked chats were sent to the Team Principals, Journalists, and FIA officials.

Jos Verstappen recently commented that if Christian Horner stays at Red Bull, the team will end up exploding. Then came the rumors of Max Verstappen and Adrian Newey moving away from Red Bull. It is also reported that Mercedes has made an offer to Max Verstappen. But Bernie Ecclestone suggests that both Max Verstappen and Christian Horner are likely to stay at Red Bull.
Bernie Ecclestone said, “Max (Verstappen) seems likely to stay, and it’s like all wars in so much as people get over things and move on. After the Second World War, you weren’t allowed to mention Germany, and the Jews wouldn’t buy anything from there. It was understandable. But after not too long everyone forgets that and they are buying Mercedes. So I don’t see why anyone would want to push Christian out, certainly not as time acts as a great healer.”
