Helmut Marko has justified Max Verstappen’s salary at Red Bull. The Red Bull top executive is of the opinion that Max’s paygrade will be beneficial for both sides. Not only Max will be happy to get such a hike in his salary, but also Red Bull will be more than happy to provide him that.

Max signed a whopping $50 million contract with Red Bull till 2028. Apart from delivering the F1 title, the 24-year-old driver has managed to grab his team some excellent sponsorships for this season. And the American tech giants Oracle is among them.

Talking about Max’s new contract, Helmut conveyed, “I don’t want to speculate about the numbers. I can only say that both sides are happy and will be happy with the deal. You can see the great value we place on Max Verstappen from the length of the new contract.” Red Bull generally does not sign such long-term contracts.”

How did Max Verstappen help Red Bull?

The energy drink-owned team picked up 585.5 points in total and missed the P1 by just 28 points. Verstappen alone scored 395.5 points picking up a staggering 10 wins and 18 podiums.
