It will be an understatement to say Red Bull’s investment in the youth has paid off. The Milton Keynes-based outfit has won all of its driver’s championship titles thanks to its investment in youth. However, the biggest investment in youth Red Bull did was with Christian Horner. The owners made Horner the youngest-ever team principal in the sport’s history and it is paying dividends. Moreover, there is equal gratitude as Horner showcased in a recent interview turning down a “hugely flattering” Ferrari offer.

Red Bull has been extremely loyal to Christian Horner and the British team principal has reciprocated that loyalty on many occasions. The Brit showcased that again while talking on the Auto Motor und Sport YouTube channel.

When asked if he has been tempted to try new adventures in the sport, the Red Bull man sang his team’s praise. “To be honest, no, because I’ve been here since the very beginning. I feel very much responsible for the team. It’s a great group of people that I work with. And I think I’ve never been tempted away,” said Horner.

When the interviewer added the Ferrari job, recently vacated by Mattia Binotto in the mix, Horner still stuck to his laurels. He said, “Yes, it’s hugely flattering to have been asked by Ferrari, but they’re a great team and I’m sure they’re going to be very competitive.”
