Watching the greatness of Lewis Hamilton over the years had many fans and pundits think we wouldn’t witness a repeat of such excellency for many years. However, Max Verstappen is quickly changing that with his superior speed and dominant driving. So much so that the Dutchman has also been compared to Legendary Michael Schumacher multiple times this year.

The Dutchman won his second successive title this year with 4 races to spare. Granted, he had a competitive car, but Verstappen still had to beat 19 people on the grid, including his teammate Sergio Perez. To everyone’s surprise, he did it 15 times this year, a new record for the most race wins in a season.
Moreover, Super Max is just 25 years old and Christian Horner believes his potential is quite scary. As per GPFans, The Red Bull boss said, “Max – just a very natural, raw ability that has a hunger and determination like I’ve certainly never seen before. So, very different in so many ways, but very similar in their determination, in their desire to want to win, to want to be the best.”
The Briton continued, “Max, whatever he goes on to achieve in his career, has done so much in such a short space of time. At the age of just 25, it’s quite frightening to think what actually lies ahead of him.”

Verstappen said, “But that is really the case. When I am done with it, I stop. It’s as simple as that. But for the same instance, I can still enjoy it and continue for one or two more years. As a Formula 1 driver then, you know. I will really keep racing, but then I will do other things.”
If Verstappen does decide to hang his helmet at the end of his contract, he’ll only be 31 years old at the time. The Red Bull driver also hopes that he inspired the next generation of Dutch drivers to follow their F1 dreams.
