The rise of Formula 1 on the American subcontinent has been immense. No continent in the world has seen the rise in popularity of the sport like America. This is why the Red Bull boss Christian Horner wants not one, not two but four of these in the future. We are not talking about back-to-back titles. He already has achieved that feat. He isn’t talking about the number of drivers either. He is talking about the number of races on the American subcontinent.
In the upcoming record 23 race season, America is hosting three races. Some would think three races in America are already more than enough. However, at the Red Bull livery launch in New York, which did not get the reception the team would’ve hoped for, Horner talked about a dream fourth destination in America.

In an exclusive interview with Daily Mail, when asked whether New York is a possible destination, “It would be amazing,” Horner replied enthusiastically. “Racing in big cities in the US is really exciting. A race here in the Big Apple, for example, what a spectacle that would be. You can never say never [to a fourth US race].”
The boss then attested to the growing popularity of the sport in America. “We’ve got other North American races as well, with Montreal, and there’s certainly demand for it, so why not? It’s great that there’s that much interest in Formula One in the US,” he added.

The growing popularity in America, the American owners, and everything in the middle is definitely paying dividends, and the Las Vegas GP is a prime example of that. However, it’s not just the fans who are excited about the Las Vegas GP. Everyone in the Formula 1 ecosystem is also excited about the upcoming race in Vegas and Horner is no exception.
