Max Verstappen is on the top of the F1 world and no one, despite multiple attempts, can touch him. Because he can’t be touched on the track, people try to diminish Verstappen’s brilliance off of it. This is exactly why we hear multiple F1 entities terming Verstappen’s dominance as boring and counterproductive for the sport. However, to shut all those entities, the Red Bull man had an extremely calm and graceful reply.
Heading into the British GP, Verstappen is a clear favorite once again. This brought up the question of boredom for the fans. This is exactly why Verstappen decided to paint the picture from his and Red Bull’s perspective to put some respect back into their efforts.
As quoted by FormulaPassion, Verstappen calmly elaborated on Red Bull’s struggle. He said, “For many years we have been very close, or we thought we were. Now that we’re finally here, I’m really enjoying the moment. I like what we are doing, what we are achieving as a team.”

He then addressed the “boring accusation.” He added, “People ask me if it’s boring. No, it’s not boring, because that’s what I work for. In all these years together with the team, everyone was so motivated to achieve a position like this. So for us, it is a pleasure. Of course, we are also aware that now others are playing the same role as us. We know what they are trying to do, but we try to stay up there.”

The Dutchman’s record-breaking 2022 season was deemed boring by many. What he’s done so far has only solidified those claims. However, Johnny Herbert fends off all such accusations and called out the ones who do not recognize the brilliance of Verstappen.
Herbert addressed Eddie Jordan’s ‘bored to death’ comment toward Max with a brutal reply. “I am wowed by what you see Max do on the track. Everyone should enjoy what Max does in the cockpit.
