Sebastian Vettel chose 28th July 2022 as the date to announce his retirement. Since then, he received many requests to either not leave the sport or come back after a few years. It’s certain that the fans are going to miss the gentlemen of the sport. Since July, fans showered the German driver with love and now, before his last race at Abu Dhabi, Seb found himself in possibly one of his last fan interactions in the paddock.

Vettel won all his championships with Red Bull from 2010 to 2013. During his illustrious career, he won 53 Grand Prix, which is the third highest in Formula 1 history. The 122 times podium winner has decided to hang up his helmet after the season finale of 2022. The decision to retire was one of the toughest for the F1 Titan and the adoration of the fans was making it much harder for him to bid farewell to the sport.
Ahead of his swan song on Sunday, the 4 time world champion was surrounded by his fans in the final Fan Zone. Sebastian Vettel was amazed by looking at the support he was getting. He said, “It does feel a little bit different yesterday was nice with all the drivers, I didn’t expect to see so many signs, so many people, so much support, flags.”

Vettel is going to retire after he crosses the finish line at the Yas Marina Circuit, but Lewis Hamilton is adamant about the fact that the German driver will make a return to the sport.
Lewis Hamilton says Sebastian Vettel will be back
Vettel has made it clear that he is going to retire from the pinnacle of motorsport. But recently, during a media conference, Lewis Hamilton gave an indication to the fan that the German driver might make a comeback in Formula 1 racing.

Vettel will conclude his 16 years long career at the Abu Dhabi Grand Prix, but Hamilton might have given fans hope that the German will return to the racing track again. The seven times world champion made his debut at the same time when Vettel arrived in the world of F1. After racing for these long years, Hamilton says he can bet that Vettel will make a comeback.
He said, “You’re probably going to come back. You’ll be back. Formula 1 has a way of sucking you back in. I don’t think it’s a goodbye show’, it’s ‘see you later’, because he’ll come back. I’m going to put my money on that he’s going to come back, just take a sabbatical, like one year, maybe two years maximum, and then come back.”
