The Brazilian GP resumed from where it left off on Friday. In an incredible turn of events, Mercedes dominated the proceeding as George Russell clinched his first-ever sprint race win. Carlos Sainz sandwiched between Russell and Lewis Hamilton to complete the podium. However, Sergio Perez and his interesting radio conversation also caught some of the fans’ eye.

Max Verstappen led the sprint race after overtaking Kevin Magnussen in the opening stages of the race. Moreover, he seemed to have control of the race, but George Russell had other ideas. The Dutch Lion then had minor contact with Carlos Sainz, which saw his front wing getting damaged. As a result, Verstappen lost places and finished P4.

Moreover, Sergio Perez quickly realized the situation and asked Red Bull to play a tactical switch. Sergio Perez led Charles Leclerc by 5 points in the WDC before the start of the sprint. However, watching Max struggle, the Mexican asked Red Bull to favor him for the Dutch Lion in his chase for P2 in the driver’s championship.

Perez said“Am I going to have his position? I need the points.”
