In its entire seventy-year history, the Formula 1 sport has never enjoyed such a high level of acclaim. However, as the Netflix phenomenon Drive to Survive brought all the events from its docuseries to life, the sport took off all over the world, giving fans plenty of options for who to root for. But with fame comes the tendency to gravitate toward unfavorable energies. And this is why the well-known Netflix protagonist Guenther Steiner, who has a 14-year-old intel, has issued a don’t do me “nasty” reservation.

Prior to the series, Guenther Steiner was not exactly widely recognized, which was something the 58-year-old preferred. Steiner, who began working in the motorsports industry two decades ago, joined Jaguar Racing (later known as Red Bull) before returning to Formula 1 in 2014 to take the helm of the newly established Haas. Being in charge of a squad that isn’t a title contender presented leadership challenges that were well suited to the American’s desire to avoid attention.

However, because of his outspoken personality—which he claimed was ingrained during his time working with F1 star Niki Lauda—he managed to win over the hearts of the fans. If someone has a lot of fans for a particular attribute, they almost certainly also have a lot of critics for that same trait, which undoubtedly happens to many celebrities.

While he was posed the query, “Do you think you’ve kind of grown comfortable with your role on social media, meme sometimes or is it still something that you find uncomfortable?”

To which he initially responded, “No, I’m fine with it because I think you know and I’m not present on social media. We are some person and I don’t follow a lot.” In the conversation, he also mentions the identity of the 14-year-old intel. As he continued, “But obviously I’ve got a 14-year-old daughter which shows me sometimes the memes and stuff, but I think they’re all done. In the right perspective, you know, to have fun to entertain people.”

Even while he acknowledged that the negativity on social media doesn’t upset him, he issued a stern warning to anyone who might consider harming the reputation of him and his family. The 58-year-old man added, ” So I don’t get upset because I sometimes say things you shouldn’t be saying. And if people, if you do it to people, you need to, if you dish it out, you need to be able to take it as well, you know. So I’m always living with that principle and so if nobody’s getting nasty against me or against my family, I’m pretty. I can smile on myself. I can laugh at myself a lot.”
