Sebastian Vettel is a 4-time world champion. He is only the second driver from Germany to win world championships after his hero, Michael Schumacher, who has 7. Now Michael’s son, Mick, has joined the sport and is in his rookie season.
But Mick is in the slowest car of the grid and could not showcase his true pace just yet. But Vettel believes Mick has shown progress in his rookie season and it would be harsh to judge him because of his car’s limitations.

It’s very difficult with the car: Sebastian Vettel
As reported by planetf1, the Aston Martin driver stated that the Haas car is the slowest on the grid. He believes Mick should focus on working consistently and needs to stay calm.
“It’s very difficult with the car. Everyone knows that it is the weakest car in the field,” said Vettel.
“And still to stay calm and show the consistency and also the motivation… We are in communication more often and I think he has pushed the whole team, even if the starting position is not easy,” said Seb.

Mick looking forward to barbecues with the Aston Martin driver
We have seen Sebastian Vettel hanging out and talking to Mick often in the paddock. The four-time world champion stated he is happy to give tips to the young German.
“If we stand next to each other with the camper, then there is a bit of time. I have always said that I am open to any tips I can give. Whether they are always useful is another question. But I am happy to give them.” said Vettel.

Mick, in response, has been grateful to have the support from Vettel and is happy that they are motorhome neighbors.
“It’s nice that we are still motorhome neighbors. So I’m looking forward to it and probably one or two barbecue evenings,” said Mick.
It would be interesting to see the pace of Schumacher in a faster car in F1. We know he can win the championship, as he has showcased in his junior career.
