The evergreen question in the sport of Formula 1 is, “Who is better in equal machinery?” Every driver hopes to encounter this scenario to give themselves an equal fighting chance and prove their mettle. However, hardly any get it! Although an event organized by AlphaTauri gave Max Verstappen and Yuki Tsunoda this opportunity and the outcome will surprise you.

Once a driver reaches the premier class, i.e. Formula 1, one can assume they have left their karting days well in the past. However, sometimes opportunity strikers where even F1 drivers get to drive a kart around. This was exactly the scenario at a promotional event.

All the members of the Red Bull family in their off-time took to the track for the event. This gave Verstappen and Tsunoda the opportunity to race each other in equal machinery. The equal machinery being electric go-karts.

However, the most surprising part of the whole scenario was Tsunoda’s superiority in the electric kart. The Japanese came from behind and left the Formula 1 world champion in the dust.

We were not sure how good Tsunoda is on an electric kart, but he definitely left Verstappen and the fans baffled as he overtook the dutchman with ease. Safe to say, the fans took notice of the video posted on AlphaTauri’s Twitter page and the fans had a unanimous chant.

Fans are unanimously singing Tsunoda’s praise as he did better than Verstappen in equal machinery. The clip shared by AlphaTauri is definitely taking Twitter by storm.

The fans are loving the young Japanese driver beating the two-time world champion in “equal machinery”. 

Some fans are not even surprised by Tsunoda beating Verstappen. Moreover, some fans believe this clip will be responsible for the Japanese driver’s promotion to the Red Bull seat next year.
