After Lewis Hamilton, Max Verstappen was dawned as the crybaby of the grid post his sprint criticism. Looks like Max Verstappen’s newfound crybaby image is soon going to turn into a rage as Red Bull plays an important role in the latest changes made to the race weekends by FIA and F1. Max Verstappen has been very vocal about his disliking of the change in sprint format. The Dutchman had earlier explained how the sprint increases the pressure on the driver and the team. With 2023 being a very long season, it will be very difficult for the teams. Verstappen even went as far as to threaten FIA and F1 and suggested that he will leave the sport if a lot of changes are made to the format.

Helmut Marko recently suggested that Max Verstappen will start liking the new sprint format once he wins a race. After what happened in the Azerbaijan Sprint, we’re not sure whether Verstappen has had any positive change toward the sprint attitude. Nevertheless, a shocking revelation has been made which suggests that Red Bull went against its star driver. 

According to a Tweet uploaded on Twitter, it is suggested that Red Bull had campaigned the most for the new campaign. Michael Schmidt explained how the Milton Keynes team had better simulation tools and could benefit from fewer practice sessions to gain an edge over the rivals. Also, the tire choice rules also minimize the risk.
