Angela Cullen is the performance coach of Mercedes man Lewis Hamilton. She has been one of his close confidantes since 2016 and constantly accompanies him in the paddock. Hamilton greatly respects Cullen for her persistent contribution to his success.
Hamilton revealed how close their bonding has been. Angela, ever so loyal to Lewis, has also got the same “Loyalty” tattoo that the 7-time champion has on his hands. In essence, there share a symbol of loyalty with each other besides sharing a lot of time together too.
As per the Sun, Hamilton revealed how important his bond with the Kiwi physiotherapist is to him. He said, “Angela [Cullen] and I are naturally incredibly close. We pretty much live together.”
He further added, “People for sure won’t understand it, naturally, because they see it from a distance, but she has been one of the greatest things that’s happened to me in my life.”
Lewis explained how Cullen helps him to stay positive all the time and stays focused all the time. Cullen has worked with several track and field athletes and cyclists before joining Hamilton at Mercedes.
Cullen’s contribution has been immense to Hamilton’s 4 successive world titles from 2017-20. The longevity of Lewis Hamilton also has Cullen’s major influence.

Lewis Hamilton shall turn 38 when we head into 2023. The world champion is still willing to push hard on the track and shows no signs of retiring from F1. Precisely so, Hamilton has worked a lot with his performance coach Cullen to maintain his fitness levels to F1 standards.
His 2007 title rival Kimi Raikkonen retired last year at the age of 42. But his former McLaren teammate Fernando Alonso is still going, having returned to the sport last year, and is still willing to keep racing at 41 now.

So when does Lewis think he is done with the adrenaline rush of 200 mph? So far, he still feels he shall keep up with the form he has experienced in the last decade.
As a result, the Briton is looking forward to another multi-year deal with Mercedes after his current contract runs out at the end of 2023.
