Fernando Alonso is back in his homeland and now with a competitive car underneath him. The world awaited this for 10 years, some even giving up on the matador ever returning with a top car, but it happened and how. Though the detour in the grass during Q1 yesterday put Nando in a difficult position, the Spanish driver has a gift for his fans, which will roll out next year.
Fernando is one of the richest drivers of the grid and his many ventures have contributed to his riches apart from his driving endeavors over the course of 22 years. While most of his ventures were successful, his clothing brand, Kimoa, sat on the opposite side of the spectrum with $3,200,000 in losses, putting the brand’s value in the negative. And while the brand hasn’t been doing wonders before, Aston Martin announced its partnership with Kimoa recently. But this isn’t all the waves the brand is creating.

The Spanish driver’s clothing brand, which he still keeps promoting, is all set to have a grandstand named after the brand and the man from Oviedo himself. Matthew J Thompson took to his official Twitter account to certify it. He wrote, “Deal closed. There will be a Kimoa Fernando Alonso grandstand from 2024 onwards.”

Fernando Alonso apologizes to his fans for a poor qualifying
Acknowledging that his side of the garage did a stellar job trying to repair the car every time he went to the pit, he even said though his last lap in Q3 was competitive, he couldn’t do it. Nando called it not his best Saturday and apologized to his fans.

Alonso said, “It wasn’t my best day. And I am sorry for the team and for the fans, but tomorrow is the race and we will give it all we’ve got. The damage was a couple of tenths, no more than that.”
